Working with financial institutions and community development financial institutions (CDFIs), Dixon Center has assisted in the distribution of more than $10 million to veteran entrepreneurs in at-risk communities. This includes supporting large banks and their partner CDFI’s efforts as they expand and refine outreach and access activities for veterans.
Provided training opportunities to 1,450 Opportunity Finance Network (OFN) members on the challenges facing veteran entrepreneurs. OFN is a national association that focuses on creating access to capital to entrepreneurs, including veteran entrepreneurs.
Leveraging our expertise in the unique challenges facing veteran small business owners, Dixon Center is assisting our parent organization, Fedcap Group, in the development of a CDFI to provide capital to entrepreneurs.
Dixon Center advised and collaborated with America Future Series (AFS) on their National Security PITCH DAY & Showcase. This forum focused on breaking down barriers, showcasing the veteran entrepreneurial spirit, and providing future and current veteran entrepreneurs access to capital and potential investors.
