Veterans in Piping Partnership
Dixon Center for Military and Veterans Services is partnering with the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry (UA) Veterans in Piping (VIP) program. The UA VIP Program provides job skills training and certification leading to guaranteed employment as a United Association apprentice.
Dixon Center is providing influence, ideas and actions to increase the impact of the VIP program. Together we will accomplish our shared goal of making the lives of our veterans and their families better. This is our mission, to ensure our veterans and military families can succeed where they live and that every organization, across all sectors of society, effectively integrate veterans and their families into their organization and existing programs.
To learn more about how Dixon Center partners with organizations to create Work with Purpose, listen to the Dixon Center podcast, Service Before Self, and contact Colonel Sam Whitehurst at swhitehurst@dixoncenter.org.
