Benefits Of Charitable Giving
Thankfully, the 2021 tax season is behind us. This year, like in previous years, Dixon Center for Military and Veterans Services had many of our donors take full advantage of the multiple ways their charitable giving not only benefits our veterans and military families, but also reduced their own capital gains taxes.
Dixon Center is a member of The Fedcap Group and operates as a subsidiary of Fedcap Rehabilitation Services, a 501c3 organization, and an IRS-qualified public charity (EIN 13-5645879). For the fiscal year 2021, 88% percent of total Fedcap expenditures went directly toward programming.
At Dixon Center we take pride in being good stewards of our funds. We continue to strive to make giving as easy as possible, adjusting to and fielding the latest methods for donors to contribute in a way that makes sense for them.
We want to provide you with all the variety of opportunities that can unlock some of the biggest tax savings.
We accept simple cash and online donations, as well as more complex donations from appreciated assets like stock, real estate, cryptocurrency, wills, trusts, and life insurance policies.
If you would like to join our 1905 donors with your generous, tax-deductible donation have questions about how to make the most of your charitable giving, please reach out to our Director of Development, Vanessa Stergios at vstergios@dixoncenter.org.
