Easier To Give
We are pleased to announce that as part of our 10th Anniversary celebration we have created a QR Code that is making it easier for supporters to give donations supporting our work by creating a truly unique Scan-to-Donate Now (QR Code).
As a leader, our director of development, Vanessa Stergios is constantly looking for easier ways for our donors to give. Our friends and supporters will be seeing us using our QR code in creative ways, including:
- As a quick and easily shareable way to direct people to our Donate Now form or social media or in email campaigns
- On direct mail or fundraising packs as a way for people to donate or even view multimedia that will tell the Dixon Center for Military and Veterans Services story in different ways
- As a way to add contactless donation to public advertising – like we did during our 2021 Vision Summit with their advertising boards
- On merchandise such as mugs, pins, shirts, on our business cards, and signs
Sara Heidenheimer, our program and administrative manager determined the “QR Code to be a cost-effective way to reduce the use of paper at events, where users can be directed to our recently redesigned webpage instead of handing out fliers. We will stop printing and save money.”
This is an exciting time for Dixon Center for Military and Veterans Services as it is our 10th Anniversary. Since May 13, 2012, Dixon Center’s collaboration and capacity building has impacted more than 2.4 million individuals and organizations. We are also very proud of the fact that every dollar that supports our work was donated by American patriots like you. Based on our financial statements under the umbrella of The Fedcap Group, 88% of total expenditures went directly toward programming.
