Get Out and Vote
“The future of this republic is in the hands of the American voter.”
– Dwight D. Eisenhower, 1949
At Dixon Center for Military and Veterans Services we look forward to exercising our right to vote, our duty to vote, and our support and encouragement to others who may think that their vote doesn’t matter. It does!
Our team continues spending time on equitable and just policies. Specifically, advocating and developing veteran wellness policies at the national, state and local levels. These efforts focusing on policies relative to affordable housing, physical, emotional & social wellness, as well as economic opportunities will be less effective without the right support by elected officials.
November 7th is quickly approaching. Get out in your community and vote.
